Purpose:

v      Establish a HSE Management System that is compliant with OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO14001/2004, monitor compliance with the HSE management system.

RESPOSIBILITIES:

v  Organize, implement and manage the HSE functions at site as per company’s / Project’s HSE plan.

v  Deliver site safety induction courses for the new staff.

v  Implementing emergency procedures.

v  Performs inspections and provide the support or alert the project team of any potential problem or hazard.

v  Conducting internal audits.

v  Attend monthly meeting and reporting on HSE performance, safety accidents and incidents.

v  Conduct pre-operational risk assessments on new sites and design risk mitigation measures.

v  Develop all the required documentation, operational checks and reports for the HSE Management System to be compliant with OHSAS 18001/2007 and ISO 14001/ 2004 standards, including corrective and preventive measures.

v  Assist with the implementation of Job Safety Analysis and inspect job site activities during particularly difficult or hazardous work situations;

v  Assist local management in the preparation and presentation of field HSE meetings;

v  Coordinate and participate in the investigation of accidents and near misses;

v  Review and analyze accidents and near miss incidents and making corrective action recommendations;

v  Supervise and assist regular emergency response exercises and drills to ensure the highest level of preparedness in any emergency. Maintains records of such drills, providing recommendations for emergency response improvements;

v  Supervise on-site doctors and medical emergency response preparation and implementation;

v  Ensure that operations employees, contractors and site visitors receive HSE inductions for theatre operations.

v  Performs inspections and witness tests and provide the support or alert the project team of any potential problem.

v  Ensure optimum utilization, calibration, repair and maintenance of measuring and testing equipments and firefighting tools.

v  Conducting internal safety audits.

v  Attend monthly meeting and prepare the safety reports.

REQUIREMENT/QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE:

v  University degree in relevant field (Electrical / Mechanical).

v  Must have at least 5 years of experince.

v  Experience in the same field of HSE in the construction project (Power/ Energy).

v  Computer literate and excellent oral and written Communication skills.

v  Knowledge of (OSHA, NEBOSH, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, first aids).

v  Nebosh IGC certification is must.

v  Preffered Saudi national.
